(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KNHC) will raise interest rates on the"Bogeumjari(Nest) loan, a long-term fixed-rate, part-repayment home mortgage loan, by 0.1 percentage point from June 1.
Accordingly, the interest rate of 3.5% (10 years) ~ 3.75% (30 years) will be applied for 'u-bogeumari loan' which is applied from KNHC homepage and 't-bogeumari loan' which is applied from bank.

Also, thrifty e-Bogeumjari loan, which reduces the cost through electronic registration, is available at an interest rate of 3.4% (10 years) ~ 3.65% (30 years) per year.

A corporation official said,"Although it is inevitable to raise the base rate of Bogeumjari(Nest) loan due to recent market interest rate increase to large extent, the rate hike has been minimized so as not to overburden the working class and middle class consumers."
