(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Samsung Electronics has launched its 89-inch micro-LED display in the Chinese market, aiming to strengthen its presence in the premium segment.

Following the release of the 110-inch micro-LED display in China last year, Samsung Electronics unveiled the 89-inch model for the first time at the AWE (Appliance & Electronics World Expo) held in April this year, enhancing its lineup of premium products.

Starting with the 89-inch model, the company plans to expand the lineup to include 76, 101, and 114-inch models, targeting the market for ultra-high-definition and large-screen products.

Micro LED technology embodies self-emitting LEDs at the micrometer(㎛) scale, providing exceptional picture quality without the need for backlighting or color filters. As it doesn' require bezels, it offers an immersive viewing experience by blurring the boundary between the screen and the surrounding wall.
