(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = Hanjin group attracted new routes to increase its competitiveness in the ports business.

HJNC, one of Hanjin group’s subsidiaries, will start offering port and logistics services on two North American routes of SM Line in May.

SM Line’s CHINA PACIFIC EXPRESS (CPX) services are provided by six 6400 TEU-type containerships that stop at Quingdao-Shanghai-Ningbo-Busan-Long Beach-Portland-Busan-Gwangyang-Quingdao.

In addition, PACIFIC NORTHWEST SERVICE (PNS) services are through six 4300 TEU-type container ships, connecting Yentian-Ningbo-Sanghai-Busan-Vancouver-Seattle-Busan-Yentian. Both services are exclusive routes operated by SM Line ships only.

The largest container terminal operator offers consolidated services through four terminals home and abroad, including Busan, Incheon, Pyeongtaek, and Vietnam, seven inland stops, including Uiwang, Central, etc., and transportation networks across Korea.
