(Seoul=NSP News Agency) jeonghyun go Journalist = Driver’s license will be available in your phone from the first quarter of next year, and it will feature just like the original driver’s license.


KT, SK Telecom and LG Uplus agreed to collaborate with National Police Agency in order to develop mobile driver’s license service based on PASS that all three companies own for the sake of identity verification.


The companies with National Police Agency and Road Traffic Authority plan to work together ranging from license verification development to making their users use the service in reality until the first quarter of next year.

They plan to develop mobile license that drivers using PASS can easily utilize to verify themselves by making mobile license as legal as the original ones.

Additionally, they plan to cooperate with SoCar, the ride hailing service in Korea for actual mobile license use.
