(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = MPK group announced that Mr. Pizza opened its first member store in Buena Park, California. It is a great stride, given that this is the first time since Mr. Pizza made its way to U.S. restaurant industry 8 years ago.

Opened a day ago, Mr. Pizza Buena Park situated in Buena Park, a center of commerce in Orange County, California.

Its 430 square meter floor-about 130 in pyung-allows 160 seats for guests. The restaurant also includes a terrace and rooms for around 40 dinners, an open kitchen to look through, a beer and wine bar with 20 varieties of liquor.

Mr. Pizza plans to open another branch within next month, in Westfield premium department store located in Beverly Hills, California.

Dong-wook Kim, a director of MPK’s U.S subsidiary, delivered in his speech that with 8 years of accumulated experience, the company will unfold its franchise business from the west California in this year, then for the east part of US such as New-York next year.
