(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = SK Hynix, a South Korea memory semiconductor supplier led by Park Sung-wook, has held its position in the Carbon Disclose Project(CDP) Hall of Fame Gold Club by CDP Korea Inc., for the third consecutive years ever since it had been listed in 2013.
CDP Korea Inc., conducted the evaluation on the top 250 listed Korean companies in terms of market capitalization.
According to the review, SK made its name on the list of Hall of Fame Gold Club, the honorable membership came after it had been selected as CDP’s Carbon Management Honors Club for five consecutive years. In order to maintain the Gold Club status, 90 or above CDP evaluation points and A- or above grade is required.
SK Hynix strengthened its fame as the leader of climate change protestor, with ceaseless efforts and dedication on reducing green-house gases as well as on energy consumption. It has also broadened the practice of labeling the carbon dioxide, improved the public awareness on the climate change, and manufactured environment friendly products.
