Samsung KNOX obtains 'strong' level in Gartner mobile device security

END7, Read 0(Seoul=NSP News Agency) jonghyuk Kim Journalist = Samsung KNOX 2.6,developed by Samsung Electronics, a mobile security solution available on Galaxy S7 acquired 'strong', the highest level,in the 2016 mobile device platform comparative evaluation, published by Gatner.
Gatner reported comparison evaluation of 12 mobile security solutions based on core 12 OS in more than 20 items.
Especially, Samsung KNOX obtained 'strong' level in the part of corporate managed security. At the same time, it was the only solution that acquired 'strong' in the various items about corporation. Through this evaluation, Samsung KNOX proved that it takes the lead in the various security parts of authentication methods, encryption management, jailbreak and root protection and app vetting.

Now, KNOX 2.6, the newest mobile security platform of Samsung Electronics is available in 'Galaxy S7' and 'Galaxy S7 edge'. KNOX 2.6 is optimized for the newest version of android, Marshmallow.
