Hankook Tire Opens high technology manufacturing Plant in Tennessee

END7, Read 0(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = Hankook Tire(CEO, Seo Seung Hwa) held the grand opening ceremony for its first high technology manufacturing facility in Clarksvill, Tennessee in the U.S. to produce mainly top quality tires.
The plant's first phase will produce 5.5 million units annually such as top quality tires, Passenger Car Radial (PCR) and Light Truck Radial (LTR) tires with up to date manufacturing facilities.
Accordingly, annual global production of Hankook Tire has increased to around 140million. Hankook Tire has global manufacturing bases in Hungary, Indonesia and Korea and by opening Tennessee plant, it has established well balanced manufacturing portfolio around the globe.
