(Seoul=NSP News Agency) soon ki Lee Journalist = Asiana Airlines had a signing ceremony for aircraft engine repair contract with Germany MTU(Motor and Turbine Union) Maintenance on Sep 27, 2018.

MTU is a global enterprise specialized in manufacturing and repairing aviation engines, which has a headquarter in Munich, Germany.

Especially, it is a company with the highest expertise in aviation engines participating in IAE(International Aero Engines) foundation consortium which designed V2500 engine mounted on A321.
 
Through this agreement, Asiana Airlines will be provided maintenance services for the V2500 engine installed on the A320·321 from MTU for five years from 2018 to 2023.

In addition, Asian Airlines got to enhance the reliability of engine maintenance of A320·321 with this contract and concluded engine repair and periodic engine Condition Monitoring contract at the same time.

Meanwhile, Asiana Airlines is expanding its cooperation with global maintenance MRO companies, for example, concluding a B777 maintenance contract with Lufthansa Technique in April, 2018 and making an engine repair contract with TS&S in July, 2018.
