(서울=NSP통신) jeonghyun go Journal = At the Monetary Policy Board held in Samsung main building, the Bank of Korea(hereafter BOK) decided to freeze the base rate at 1.50% which is the current level and implement monetary policy at the 17th.
The Monetary Policy Board of BOK increased the base rate up to 1.50% from 1.25% in November, 2017, which was in over six years and five months. That being said, they have frozen the base rate over the last 7 board meetings including the latest one.
They have decided upon the rate freeze in January, February, April, May, July, August and October.
