Hyundai Heavy Industries winning the contract to build 2 frigates for the Korean Navy.

END7, Read 0(서울=NSP통신) jeonghyun go Journal = Hyundai Heavy Industries achieved the goal of winning contracts earlier than expected with two frigate-orders for the Korean Navy.
Hyundai Heavy Industries signed the contract with Defense Acquisition Program Administration for 633.5 Billion Won-Worth Shipbuilding by two 2,800-ton frigates.
Including the latest contract, Hyundai Heavy Industries overachieved its goal of 13.2 billion dollars already through a total of 13.3 billion dollars-worth contracts with 153 ships this year. The ships in the contract are No.7 and No.8 of the Korean navy’s FFG Batch-II project. The ships will be 22-meter-long and 14-meter-wide having a maximum speed of 30 knots(34.5 miles per hour).
