Samsung, 64MP image sensor production in the second half of the year

(서울=NSP통신) jeonghyun go Journal = Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. released both 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 and 48MP ISOCELL Bright GM2 for providing its new lineup of 0.8㎛ image sensor with the smallest pixel size on the market.
The new release made Samsung expand its 0.8㎛ image sensor lineup up to 32MP, 48MP and 64MP from 20MP.
64MP GW1 features the highest resolution compared to the rest of mobile image sonsors on the market and 48MP GM2 comes in handy in terms of being small.
For better colour reproducibility, ISOCELL Plus technology was added to both products. Tetracell technology also made it possible that users can take bright pictures even in the darkness by activating 4 pixels together as if they would be one.
On top of that, DCG(Dual Conversion Gain) features clear photos with too much or less light for better colour representation.
