(서울=NSP통신) jeonghyun go Journal = SK Engineering & Construction Co. that won an order for FEED(Front End Engineering Design) in Belgium expects to enter European PDH Plant market.

Jae Hyun Ahn, the president of the company, said “We expect to build up the foundation in European Plant market.” and also added “We also look forward to strategic partnership with INEOS, the Global Top-Tier chemical company, throughout the PDH FEED.”

SK Engineering & Construction Co. also made the FEED contract with INEOS for constructing PDH(Propane Dehydrogenation) plant in Antwerp, the petrochemical complex in Belgium.

PDH is the process of producing propylene by removing hydrogen from propane gas. The processed propylene is generally mixed with polypropylene to make wrapping film, sticky tape, fiber and carpet.

Under this project, FEED will be implemented with 750,000 tons of PDH Plant a year in Antwerp, 31 miles north away from Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
