(Seoul=NSP News Agency) soon ki Lee Journalist = Hyundai Motor expands the ‘Visiting Charging Service’ from the 13th to enhance the satisfaction of electric car customers.

The ‘Visiting Charging Service’ is a service in which a dedicated staff visits a customer directly to charge a vehicle battery for free when a customer requests the service at a time and location desired by the customer when the electric vehicle of Hyundai Motor is discharged while it is operated or it is difficult to move to the charging station.

The ‘Visiting Charging Service’ provides a charge amount that can drive about 44km per use(7kWh, about 15 minutes of charging time). It can be applied through ‘Blue Link SOS’ button in the room mirror, Hyundai Motor customer center, and mobile application ‘My Hyundai’.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor started pilot operation of the ‘Visiting Charging Service’ in Jeju Island in 2016. It expanded the service range to the whole country in 2017, and added a data monitoring-based call function and support for vehicle inspection services while charging through service reorganization in 2018.
