Hyundai Glovis, To Invest KRW 9 Trillion by 2030… To Achieve KRW 40 Trillion in Sales

(Seoul=NSP NEWS AGENCY) = Hyundai Glovis will make a large-scale investment of over KRW 9 trillion by 2030. The plan is to expand its business area from automobile transportation to the entire industry.
On the 28th, Hyundai Glovis held the ‘2024 CEO Investor Day(Investor Briefing)’ at the Fairmont Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul and announced the ‘Hyundai Glovis 2030 Growth Strategy’ containing mid- to long-term business and investment strategies.
The KRW 9 trillion in investment will be used for logistics(36%), shipping(30%), and distribution (11%). The remaining 23% will be invested in new businesses. Hyundai Globis plans to grow sales to KRW 40 trillion+α by 2030, with operating profit of KRW 3 trillion and an operating margin of 7%. For this year, the company has set performance targets of KRW 26 trillion to KRW 27 trillion in sales and KRW 1.6 trillion to KRW 1.7 trillion in operating profit.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Globis will apply a new dividend policy for the next three years to increase shareholder value. Accordingly, the dividend policy will be changed from ‘5-50% increase in the previous year’s dividend per share(DPS)’ to 'at least 5% increase in dividend compared to the previous year and at least 25% increase in dividend payout ratio’.
