(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Krafton acquires a 100% stake in Eleventh Hour Games, the North American game developer of the action RPG ‘Last Epoch.’

Through this acquisition, Krafton plans to secure a competitive franchise IP and further strengthen its position in the global market. Eleventh Hour Games will lay the foundation for the long-term growth of the franchise, including the expansion of console platforms and the strengthening of seasonal content operations.

Krafton plans to provide comprehensive support in various aspects including infrastructure, global publishing, and live services, and the existing management-centered operating system will remain in place even after the acquisition.

“We are excited to join Krafton,” said Our Games CEO. “With Krafton’s deep understanding of the genre and long-term growth strategy, we expect the Last Epoch franchise to take a new leap forward.”

“Eleventh Hour Games is a developer that has built a global fan base based on its deep understanding of the action RPG genre and community-centered development philosophy,” said the head of Krafton’s corporate development division. “With this acquisition, Krafton will diversify its genre offerings and lay the foundation for new franchise expansion.”

Meanwhile, Krafton acquires a 100% stake in Eleventh Hour Games through this transaction. The acquisition price is approximately USD 95.97 million (KRW 132.4 billion).
