(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Shinhan Financial Group has received an integrated A+ rating for 11 consecutive years since 2015 in the ‘2025 KCGS ESG Evaluation and Rating Announcement’ announced by the Korea ESG Standards Institute.

The Korea ESG Standards Board(KESB) annually evaluates Korean listed companies in the areas of ▲environment ▲social responsibility ▲corporate governance to encourage sustainable growth and publishes ESG ratings. According to this year's evaluation, Shinhan Financial Group is the only Korean company to have received an integrated ESG rating of A+ for 11 consecutive years.

Shinhan Financial Group is leading the way in practical carbon reduction efforts, including establishing the first transition finance policy among domestic financial institutions to achieve sustainable growth and enhancing its credit system based on the Korean Green Classification System.

In addition to promoting various projects to address social issues such as creating youth jobs and fostering childcare sharing centers to address the low birth rate, the company is also expanding the scope of measuring and managing the social value created through ESG activities, thereby driving positive change across society beyond finance.
