(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Samsung Electronics supplies high-efficiency HVAC solutions to luxury residential complexes in India.

Samsung Electronics plans to apply air conditioning solutions to ‘The Orchard’ complex, currently under construction in the Gurugram region, in collaboration with the Indian real estate developer Central Park. This project involves supplying approximately 3,000 units of Samsung Electronics’ home system air conditioning solutions to 300 households.

Occupancy at The Orchard complex is scheduled to begin early next year. Gurugram, located south of New Delhi, is India's leading IT industry hub and a densely populated area with high-income residents. With summer temperatures sometimes exceeding 45°C, it is considered a region with high demand for high-performance and high-efficiency air conditioning solutions.

Samsung Electronics plans to expand its HVAC business, currently focused on commercial buildings, into the high-end residential market following this supply.

This project will feature the “DVM S2” large-scale system air conditioner outdoor unit and the “Windless 1-Way Ceiling Cassette” residential HVAC solution.

By connecting with SmartThings, you can manage the temperature, humidity, and air quality of each room using a mobile device. It is also possible to check real-time power consumption and manage energy through AI energy-saving modes.

Samsung Electronics plans to strengthen its targeting of the high-end residential market by expanding its AI home solution-based HVAC business in global markets, including India.
