(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Samsung will invest a total of KRW 2,655 trillion domestically to foster cutting-edge future industries.

Samsung will invest KRW 2,030 trillion in developing semiconductor clusters, including the Pyeongtaek Campus and the Yongin National Industrial Complex.

A total of KRW 625 trillion will be invested in the Honam, Chungcheong, and Yeongnam regions, focusing on AI semiconductors, robotics, batteries, and IT components and materials.

In the Honam region, KRW 425 trillion was allocated for projects centered on semiconductor clusters, AI data centers, and future energy.

Samsung Electronics(005930) is moving forward with plans to build a new semiconductor fab in Gwangju and establish a digital twin-based innovation hub. Samsung SDS plans to construct an AI data center on SOLASEADO in Haenam to secure Sovereign AI infrastructure.

Samsung C&T is moving forward with plans to build solar power generation facilities, nuclear-powered hydrogen production facilities, and a green hydrogen demonstration complex in the Honam region. In the Chungcheong region, the company will invest KRW 140 trillion, focusing on HBM fabs, next-generation displays, batteries, and package substrates for AI servers.

Samsung Electronics will build a state-of-the-art HBM fab in Cheonan and Onyang, while Samsung Display will establish a production base in Asan for next-generation smartphone displays and microdisplays.

In the Yeongnam region, KRW 60 trillion will be invested in integrating artificial intelligence transformation(AX) and robotics transformation(RX) into the manufacturing sector.

Samsung Electronics' mass production line for humanoid robots and Samsung SDS's AI data center are set to be established in Gumi.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ MLCC and AI package substrate production lines will be established in Busan; Samsung SDI’s all-solid-state battery mother factory will be established in Ulsan; and Samsung Heavy Industries’ high-value-added shipbuilding hub will be established in Geoje.
