Samsung Elec completes executive lineup with 50s at the forefront

(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = Samsung electronics presidency appointment was held on October 2. This elevation presidency shows the strong urge of Samsung electronics for drastic management renovation with the advance of 'young' leaders in their 50's.

Through this presidency lineup, all seven presidents were filled with fresh
characters in their 50's and accelerated generation replacement and business renovation.

The age of new presidents averaged 55.9 years old with 54-year-old Kang In-yup(born in 1963) being the youngest executive. Even in the department head nominations, all were filled with in their 50's like Kim Ki-nam, the new head of DS, Kim Hyun-Suk, head of CE, Koh Dong-Jin, head of IM.

Average age of department heads is 57 years old, a 6.3 year younger than the predecessor's average age of 63.3 years.

Samsung electronics will strive for more challenges and innovations with those 'Young bloods' under rapidly changing IT industrial environments and 4th industrial revolutions.

Along with this, old managements(CEO, Kwon Oh-hyun, Vice President Yoon Bu-Geun and Shin Jong-Gyun) that made prominent achievements will assist management consulting and support retraining juniors and will plot stable business renovations.
