(서울=NSP통신) soon ki Lee Journali = Following the fatal accidents at the DL E&C construction site in March and April, another accident occurred in which two workers died.

According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor(MOEL), two workers died at a construction site in Anyang-dong, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, built by DL E&C around 11:50 a.m. on the same day.

On that day, two workers who were working at the lower part of the boom were crushed to death when the pump car boom broke while working using a pump car for pouring floor foundation concrete for the basement floor of the site.

It turned out that the two workers who were working were both workers of subcontractors.

Accordingly, the MOEL took measures to suspend work after confirming the accident and started an investigation into the violation of the Industrial Safety and Health Act and the Serious Disaster Punishment Act along with the cause of the accident.

Previously, as there were two fatal accidents this year at DL E&C, the MOEL conducted supervision of major construction sites and headquarters across the country and announced the results. In relation to this additional fatal accident, it is considering special supervision of the accident site of DL E&C.
