The Q CELLS division(Hanwha Q CELLS) of Hanwha Solutions will begin the European solar heating system construction business in earnest.
By combining a solar module, an energy storage system(ESS) and heat pumps, it aims to reduce heating costs and carbon emissions with eco-friendly power. Consumers can supply solar power to heat pumps and replace fossil fuel-based heating facilities by using Q. OMAND, an energy management smartphone app developed by Hanwha Q CELLS.

In addition, consumers can operate home appliances, including heat pumps, using solar power through the ‘Zero Energy Home’ function of the ‘SmartThings Energy’ app, Samsung Electronics’ home appliance control solution.
