(Seoul=NSP News Agency) Jiye Kim Journalist = Mr.Pizza, a franchise pizza brand of MPK group, achieved the third consecutive quarterly surplus in China.

Through the first three quarters of 2015, Mr.Pizza generated 66.2 billion won (358.30 million yuan), increased by 84 percent over the same period last year (36.0 billion won). The current account surplus of MPK group stood at 1.5 billion won.

The group explained that there has been steady growth in revenue in China, ever since the company started bringing in profit of 250 million won in the first quarter of 2015. The sales figure already far exceeded the annual turnover of 50 billion won in 2014, with a growth rate of 32 percent (16.2billion won).

In terms of profit contribution, Mr.Pizza Shanghai was the most outstanding branch, with sales of 25.3 billion won, the number tripled from 8.4 billion won in 2014. Mr.Pizza Beijing as well recorded sales of 40.9 billion won, rose 13.3 billion won from the previous year.
