(Seoul=NSP News Agency) YEON SUN HAN Journalist = POSCO's Indonesian steel mill 'PT. Krakatau POSCO' turned into a surplus in four years after its operation and exceeded the cumulative sales of 10 million tons.

PT. Krakatau POSCO sold 170,000 tons in 2014, the first year of its operation, and since then it has increased sales to 2.8 million tons from 2016, exceeding the cumulative sales of 10 million tons on the 15th.

In particular, "PT. Krakatau POSCO" recently added about 12 million dollars in operating profit as a deemed performance evaluations last year's results.

PT. Bukaka Tekik, the manufacturer of steel structures, plans to construct the first full-scale steel-frame highway in Indonesia by purchasing 120,000 tons of steel plates from Krakatau Posco.

PT. Kenertec, the wind tower production company of Korindo Heavy
Industries, produces wind power generators and generator towers using Krakatau POSCO's materials and exports them to the US and Europe.
