(Seoul=NSP News Agency) hYUNJIN KIM Journalist = LG Electronics launches its LG StandbyMe, in the foreign markets.

The company will distribute the new lifestyle screen, LG StandbyMe, in major Asian countries, including Singapore, Vietnam, starting from Hong Kong. In Vietnam, LG Elec’s Online Brand Store takes preorders.

The Korean electronics company increased the capacity of its TV production line in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, before releasing the product in foreign markets. It also started software updates to support the Airplay feature, syncing with iOS devices.

It added an audio guidance feature for people with visual disabilities.

LG StandbyME has 27-inch (about 68 cm diagonally) touch screen. It supports ▲swiveling, adjusting the left and right side of the screen up to 65° back and forth, ▲tilting, tilting the screen up to 25° up and down, and ▲rotating, rotating the screen up to 90° in clock and anti-clockwise.

It also adjusts the height within 20cm, leaving the customers room to adjust the screen to suit their position when watching it.
