(Seoul=NSP NEWS) = Samsung Electronics is strengthening its push into the global B2B air conditioning market with its ‘Wind-Free Air Conditioner.’

Samsung Electronics’ Wind-Free air conditioner, first introduced in 2016, marks its 10th anniversary this year and has surpassed 20 million units in cumulative global sales as of June.

Samsung Electronics is expanding its supply to luxury hotels in Europe, where demand for air conditioners has increased due to the recent heatwave. It supplied the Wind-Free 4-Way ceiling cassette and the large system air conditioner outdoor unit 'DVM S2+' to the Hotel Marriott Trieste in Italy.

It supplied ‘DVM S2’ and windless 1-way ceiling cassettes to ‘Hotel Esmeralda’ in Spain to meet the demand for replacing aging air conditioning equipment.

Orders centered on large-scale residential complexes continue to come in from key locations in Asia and Latin America as well.

Next year, the company plans to supply 3,000 Windless 1-Way ceiling-mounted cassette units and 600 ‘DVM S Mini’ outdoor units to high-end residential complexes and large hospitals in Pune, India.
