CEO Noh said, “The Galaxy Z series unveiled today is a starting point that re-establishes the standard for foldables,” adding, “After the period of announcing new form factors, foldables have now become a part of everyday life, and customer expectations are becoming more diverse.”

Samsung Electronics has segmented its foldable lineup to meet consumer demands, such as large-screen experiences suitable for content viewing, work environments that enhance productivity, and user experiences that prioritize style and portability.

CEO Noh explained, “Foldables have entered a mature stage in both technology and market,” adding, “The entry of more companies into the market means that foldables have already become mainstream.”

The Galaxy Z8 series features the new ‘Flex Titanium’ technology.

Flex titanium is characterized by the addition of precision machining technology to withstand repeated folding structures based on the strength and lightness of titanium.

AI capabilities were also presented as a next-generation competitive edge.

CEO Noh stated, “AI is now becoming an infrastructure that everyone takes for granted, and in order to be naturally utilized in daily life, it must be easy and reliable,” adding, “We will provide Galaxy AI to 800 million people within this year.”

He said, “People do not want to learn AI; they want to receive actual help,” adding, “AI is evolving beyond simply answering questions into agentic AI that performs necessary tasks on behalf of users.”

Personal information protection and transparency were also presented as core principles.

CEO Noh stated, “We have a principle of keeping the most sensitive personal data inside the device, allowing users to directly verify and judge what the AI ​​does and how it does it,” adding that “providing a trustworthy AI experience is of the utmost importance.”

Samsung Electronics is also accelerating the expansion of AI health experiences.

The new Galaxy Watch and Samsung Health offer features that help users manage their individual health based on sleep, recovery, and activity data, as well as biometric data such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and skin temperature.
