[경남=NSP통신] 김연화 기자 = The representative festival of South Korea as well as the night festival, 2012 Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival was heading towards climax.

These 2 weeks, Jinju changed the city of water light and the fire to attract the visitor who gathered from all over the world.

Now let me introduce this climax of the last day of the festival.

On October 1st Namgang was surrounded by darkness, the light of colorful lanternshad floated on the river.

This year the festival had 1200 decorated lanterns compared to the 800 lanterns last year.

The lantern used for Yudeung Festival is more than 52,000.

It comes the 420th anniversary of ‘Commemoration of the victory of the Jinju battle’ so Jinju castle was decorated like at that time.

Also you can enjoy the musical “Yudeung” at the special floating stage to make a special night of autumm.

One of the biggest result of Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival is not only expansion of scale but also display the historical lanterns at Jinju Castle.

When the citizens show their pride, the festival will make new Korean brand, and beat the one of the best festivals in the world.
