Hyundai Engineering has successfully entered a new market by securing a large-scale chemical plant project in Kazakhstan, Central Asia. Hyundai Engineering received a Letter of Award(LOA) for the ‘Karachaganak Gas Processing Plant’ project from JSC NC QazaqGaz, the state-owned gas company of Kazakhstan. This project is a large-scale project to construct a gas processing facility and ancillary facilities capable of processing 5 billion cubic meters of raw gas annually within the Karachaganak Processing Complex, located about 1,260 km west of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
